Memphis R&B Model

Great for when the lighter sticks just ain't cutting through. The tips sound great on light cymbals like a 7a, but the body carries the punch of a 5b.

These sticks are great. Unlike any other stick I can remember in my over 50 years of playing. I was looking for something like them ever vf BR model but with a much thinner shaft. These are not quite that but feel good nevertheless.

Add .5 stars to the rating. Immediately upon opening them, I put them to a 10 minute test of a 60’s clyde stubblefield beat. I’d compare them to the Vater sugar maple type of wood; a bit too fragile for me. I think this product is neat but I’m not super swayed to switch to this from my usual (Vater 7AN), because I like the weight of the stick. The memphis pair is similar to the Peter erksine ride stick, which I happened to have readily available, so I think cats would like that. My issues with this tend to lay in a more personal preference basis.

This stick feels really nice in my hand, balanced very well with a very do life feel when played. Trouble is my recent order is delayed for whatever reason.

These are my all-around sticks. They have a perfect balance, the thin and logn collar make them dance on cymbals but the beefy tip provides the calf on heads. As there are no sticks that comes near to their quality and design, I am so happy to bring them to FRance, Thank you @Chris!

I love all the Bopworks sticks I've used, but as my two main influences as a drummer are Al Jackson Jr. and Roger Hawkins, these fit the bill perfectly for my style of playing.

I got the Birdland, West Coast, Memphis R&B and Rhythm & Groovz models. All of them are dead-on straight and matched very closely in weight (my scale can't actually detect a difference in grams). They all have an awesome feel and great rebound. Mine all came with black ink instead of green. Love them all.

I tried these pair, the exact same BR model from the late 70s-early 80s. Very good in balance and smoothness. These will be one of my main sticks for big band formats. Thank you bopworks!
