Memphis R&B Model

I love all the Bopworks sticks I've used, but as my two main influences as a drummer are Al Jackson Jr. and Roger Hawkins, these fit the bill perfectly for my style of playing.

I got the Birdland, West Coast, Memphis R&B and Rhythm & Groovz models. All of them are dead-on straight and matched very closely in weight (my scale can't actually detect a difference in grams). They all have an awesome feel and great rebound. Mine all came with black ink instead of green. Love them all.

I tried these pair, the exact same BR model from the late 70s-early 80s. Very good in balance and smoothness. These will be one of my main sticks for big band formats. Thank you bopworks!

I bought these sticks in celebration of the drummer my grtandmother introduced me to on the Johnny Carson show many moons ago. Great feel in the hand and good balance. Looking forward to swingin these.

These sticks are everything that all the other reviewers have stated. They feel so good in your hands while playing. I currently play several models of Bopworks sticks, depending on the room and the group with which I’m working. Every model is excellent in their design and I have a wide arsenal from which to choose every night I play!

The Memphis R & B represents the best combination of diameter at the butt end and taper at the other. And the manufacturing quality of all the Bopworks models is superior to all others.

I love these sticks! They have perfect combination size, weight, and balance for me. The tip is the closest thing I've been able to find to match the Ludwig 6A Pencil Model stick I grew up playing, and the thicker shaft provides the grip that I need, now that I'm older. I've got many pairs of the Birdland model, but I'll be switching to Memphis for my next purchase. Thanks for making these sticks available. Regards.

Thrilled that I bought two pairs off the bat. Has elements of several of designs that I appreciate, but all in one option. Excellent balance, and with an appreciable heft for a lighter stick without a sense of weight or burden. Absolutely a pair to keep in my regular use case, and a value that I can share and encourage others to be certain to take advantage of not only the quality of all their products but to support a quality company from sales to customer service and fulfillment.

A smooth feel due to the taper and tip on this stick. Appreciated the thicker diameter at times, as well. I like.
