  • Light and Tight!!!

At first I thought that the sticks would be way too light for any
Forceful sound. Boy was I wrong! The response of the Cymbals
was so clean and clear and the rimshots were sharp and crisp.
And the response was the same at every volume!!!

  • Those sticks are AWESOME and I'm really glad you guys are back in business.

I tell anyone who cares to listen about them and I ask for them all the time from retailers (but I'm very pleased with being able to buy from you direct.) I'm dying to try the West Coast and really hope you will make those available again. I can find some really nice sounds out of my cymbals with these and they are super durable. There's nothing else out there that comes close! Thank You!

  • Da Bomb for Small Groups

I play with several small amatuer swing groups. We have fun. Bop Works sticks are my stick of choice for these settings. I have great dynamic control, from soft to loud!! The vintage style heads and cymbals I play sing with Bop Works sticks. And, I love the feel of Bop Works sticks in my hands.

The range of models gives me a sense of how that classic jazz sound was created !! Mel Lewis was noted for his dark rich sound -- just like I get with the Mel Lewis model. The Art Blakley is dynamic, with power in reserve. Each of the models I've used open a door to aspects of jazz history.

  • Best Jazz Sticks I've found yet

These sticks make your kit sound better and give you a much broader dynamic range than any stick I've found so far. And I think they actually improve with wear and tear as the tip whittles down. I keep old ones on deck when I need a quick change in cymbal feel/touch and sometimes play with one old, one new stick.
The weight and balance of these sticks is second to none. Trying to use other sticks after this is like going back to ball point pens. Become a stick snob like me. You know you want to.

Like many have said before, I searched for a long time for a stick that was light, thin & durable. The Birdland model was it. Currently, I am playing Country, Standard, Big Band and 50's/60's Rock 'N' Roll music and this model fits all of them. Thank You Bopworks for a SUPER DRUMSTICK.

  • What I've been looking for.

Best sticks I've found in my years of drumming. The sticks I use the most (Birdland) are perfectly suited for a mix of jazz and swing. Waiting now for an even thinner version. Thanks Bopworks.
